“Let this be a sign among you, so that when your children ask later, saying, ‘What do these stones mean to you?’ 7 then you shall say to them, ‘Because the waters of the Jordan were cut off before the ark of the covenant of the Lord; when it crossed the Jordan, the waters of the Jordan were cut off.’ So these stones shall become a memorial to the sons of Israel forever.” Joshua 4:6-7 (NASB)
“Remember the days of old, Consider the years of all generations.
Ask your father, and he will inform you, Your elders, and they will tell you.” Deuteronomy 32:7 (NASB)
“I shall remember the deeds of the Lord; Surely I will remember Your wonders of old.” Psalm 77:11 (NASB)
“For I received from the Lord that which I also delivered to you, that the Lord Jesus in the night in which He was betrayed took bread; 24 and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, “This is My body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of Me.” 25 In the same way He took the cup also after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood; do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me.”.” 1 Corinthians 11:23-25 (NASB)
